Hi, I’m Janie! I am currently in the process of becoming a certified postpartum doula and breastfeeding educator through Birth Arts International, a registered nurse, and most importantly, a mom. Supporting mothers through the tender, transformative postpartum period is not just my profession, it’s my passion. I’ve walked this road myself, and I know how overwhelming, beautiful, and vulnerable those early days and weeks can be.

As a postpartum doula, I’m here to offer gentle, evidence-based, and intuitive support that centers around your body, your baby, and your unique experience. My approach is holistic and heart-led. I believe that healing, rest, and connection are essential during the postpartum time. I combine my nursing background with a deep respect for natural healing, healthy living, and the power of maternal instincts.

I’m also a strong advocate for informed, responsive breastfeeding support. Too often, hospitals and pediatric offices aren’t equipped to offer the kind of guidance new mothers truly need. I aim to fill that gap by being a trusted, knowledgeable resource who understands the natural rhythm of breastfeeding and the real, sometimes messy, learning curve it brings. Your body and your baby know how to do this. Sometimes, they just need the right environment and encouragement to unfold.

When I’m not supporting other moms, I’m soaking up time with my own little one, my sweet two-year-old daughter. I love exploring Cleveland’s best restaurants, finding the perfect ice cream spot, and spending quiet moments crocheting. These simple joys keep me balanced and remind me of the importance of slowing down and being present, something I bring into my work with every family I support.
